MAN – A man named Romeo Alonzo slay his own nephew after he called him ‘ugly.’
We can’t deny that there jokes that hurt us but we just brushed it off since it was only for fun.
Most of the time our friends and family members are the ones who gave us savage jokes that touch our ego. We then think of a rebut to the slightly painful joke.
Sometimes people are just so insensitive with the jokes the share in public. It sometimes gets to the point that it humiliated the other person.
And when the person had it enough of it, there is a possibility that he or she may hurt them back.
Based on a report from GMA News, a man persecuted his own nephew using a large knife after he called him “ugly.”
The suspect named Romeo Alonzo slain Romulo in Baguio District, Davao City. The suspect claimed that both of them were drunk when the incident happened.
According to the report, the man had enough of his nephew’s tease that’s why he killed him.
Both the suspect and the victim were Lumad or indigenous people so the authorities let the tribal council decide for the sentence.
Alonzo said he really regretted what he’s done to his nephew. The council ordered him to give a horse as a penalty.
