DIMPLES ROMANA – Thanks to the widespread meme, now officially known as #OhDani, Dimples Romana became the Department of Tourism ambassador.

This was mentioned in the last article where Romana said that the scene where the meme came from was not part of the shot list. She further pointed out that the memes explored more places in the Philippines that she neve explored herself.

Along with co-star Beauty Gonzales, they asked Tourism Secretary Bernadette Romulo-Puyat to collab with her in her red dress walking in places in real life, further saying that she has five more dresses.

Recently in her Instagram post, Romana revealed that she received a lovely surprise from none other than Secretary Puyat. Romana really wanted to tell Puyat in person, saying that she get to say hi to the secretary in person and meet her.

Romana then told Puyat that she wanted to volunteer to become their advocate. Thus, when Romana returns, she said Puyat will expect two “dragons” and a “lion” in her office.

She lastly thanked Puyat for being gracious and said that she is proud being a Filipino, noting how all Filipinos are tourism advocates, and through that meme, there are still beautiful places waiting to be discovered.
