Dimples Romana Reveals The Behind The Scenes Of The Memeworthy Daniela Walk Scene
DIMPLES ROMANA – Kadenang Ginto star Dimples Romana revealed in an interview the behind the scenes of the widespread “Daniela Walk” meme.
As of now, the meme “Daniela Walk“, also known as “Dani-girl” by netizens, still continues to go viral across the social media. Dani-girl includes Romana’s character Daniela Mondragon wearing a red dress and carrying a red baggage walking on the slums.
Romana further embraced being the source of memes and trends nationwide, noting her role as Amanda in The Greatest Love, and Babaylan Gloria in Bagani. She further thanked the fans for their creativity and memes.
Recently, in a video from ABS-CBN. In an interview, Dimples revealed something about the memewothy scene.
She said that it was actually not part of the shot list and was made on-the spot. Dimples further said that the crew told her to walk on the street looking irritated.
Dimples even admitted that there are places in the Philippines that Romana hasn’t visited yet as a person that were already explored by her meme. Through that meme, she said that she already explored the different places in the Philippines.
As per the video, fellow co-star Beauty Gonzales, who played Romina in the show, also vouched with Romana to collaborate with the Department of Tourism, also calling the DOT Secretary Puyat herself. Even Gonzales herself did not escape the meme world as her character Romina also explored the country.
