A lot of Hollywood and Local celebrities were very vocal about their stand on the LGBT rights. Many celebrities have joined parades and other events to showcase their support for the community.

Another pop star, made a song that apparently aims at anti-LGBT people.

Meanwhile, of all the celebrities, the popular singer-songwriter Lady Gaga stepped up and joined the Pride Live’s concert at New York City to express her love for the LGBT community by delivering an empowering speech.

The pop star went up to the stage during the celebratory event by iHeartMedia – an event held to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the historical Stonewall Riots.

The crowd was surprised after Lady Gaga made some inspirational remarks to convey her love for the people.

She started off her speech by yelling out:

“This is a historic day. You should be so, so proud of yourselves.”

She also mentioned the LGBT Community’s struggles and expressed her appreciation for their bravery in facing them:

“This community has fought and continued to fight, a war of acceptance, a war of tolerance and the most relentless bravery. You are the definition of courage, do you know that?”

This is based on an article from Good Morning America.

She was apparently grateful to the LGBT community for pursuing their fight for representation. She also claimed to push, herself, for more representation.

Sylvia Rivera, Marsha P. Johnson, Audre Lorde and more names that made significant contributions to the community was also mentioned by the pop star.

That is all there is to it, at least for now. We’ll post updates as soon as we got them.
