CANADIAN BUSINESSES – The Canadian businesses gave a message to their politicians ahead of the October elections.

Millions of Filipino people have migrated to Canada. Most of them successfully landed on a great job with a good salary.

Some of them even decided to bring their whole family and settle in the country since the government provides good benefits to its people.

Based on a report from GMA News, the Canadian businesses just sent a message for the politicians who are running for this coming October’s national election in Canada.

Firms gave the warning ahead of the polling saying, “We need immigrant workers so do not make the campaign about keeping them out.”

According to the report, the head of the Business Council of Canada, Goldy Hyder, expressed that politicians should not use immigrants as weapons in their campaign.

“We don’t want immigrants to be uses as a political weapon here as it has been in the United States…”

“We agree with the federal government’s targets and we need to meet those targets … The facts clearly demonstrate that Canada is going to need immigrants to help grow the economy,” he added.
