NBA Draft Lottery or the NBA Draft is an event hosted by the NBA annually to allocate players. Teams who did not take a spot during the playoffs in the preceding year participate in this event.

A few years ago, there were speculations about the Filipino basketball player Kobe Paras participating in the draft.

Currently, the NBA Draft for this year now almost over for the first round of picks. The New Orleans Pelicans made the first pick choosing Zion Williamson.

Williamson was dubbed as one of the most exciting prospect for the league fans since LeBron James.

Memphis Grizzlies chose Ja Morant for the second pick and New York Knicks made the third pick taking RJ Barrett.

Following the first three picks, there were a bit of chaos as what most people expected. Several trades were made leading to the actual draft.

ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski reported that New Orleans made a trade for its No.4 pick – it got from the Lakers team with the deal involving Anthony Davis. They made the deal to the Hawks for the 8th, 17th and 35th picks in the 2019 Draft.

This is based on the article from CBSS Sports.

Meanwhile, the Pelicans also sent Solomon Hill – the 57th pick – to Atlanta.

Phoenix Suns, also have been busy during the draft, Wojnarowski reported that the team agreed to transfer TJ Warren – No.32 pick – to Indiana Pacers for cash. Another deal was made by the team sending the No.6 overall pick to Minnesota Timberwolves in exchange for the No. 11 pick and player Dario Saric.

Since the 2019 Drafts started, surprises kept coming.

That is all there is to it, at least for now. We’ll post updates as soon as we got them.
