The winners of 42nd Gawad Urian were finally announced during the awards night on June 18 at the UPFI Film Center in Quezon City.

When the official list of nominees was released, the action film Buy Bust directed by Erik Matti and starring Anne Curtis got the most number of nominations.

Since veteran actor Eddie Garcia is still currently in critical condition after the accident on Rosang Agimat set, director Benedict Mique received his Best Actor award.

Veteran singer Dulce and Urian 2018 Best Actress Joanna Ampil performed during the awards night. Butch Francisco and Cherie Gil hosted the event.
