Kapamilya actress Bea Alonzo has broken her silence on the alleged reunion project she is doing with A-list actor John Lloyd Cruz.
The former onscreen partner were recently spotted in Palawan and this stirred up the anticipation of their fans.
There were speculations that the two Kapamilya stars are cooking something for their supporters. Popoy and Basha fans, even wished they will do a romantic-drama film once again.
However, a previous report stated that a source speculated that John Lloyd might be selling his property to Bea. Many knew in the showbiz circles that the actors owns a property in the said province.
Apparently, there was something more than a simple rendezvous in the island. A report previously published showed that the Kapamilya stars appeared to be having a shoot. There were surrounded by cameras as comedian-host-director Jun Sabayton was instructing the scene blocking.
In line with the speculations, Bea Alonzo finally broke her silence on her alleged reunion project with John Lloyd Cruz.
“Secret, e. Di, joke lang. Hindi. But I was happy to see him,” she said.
The actress said in a report from PEP that it is still a secret as of now.
She added that they had a great time there with their friends. On the other hand, Bea did not reveal what their meeting was for.
“But I can’t disclose what it’s for. Di naman siya nagtago. Nagpahinga lang siya. We never lost contact,” the actress said.
Meanwhile, Bea said that she is glad that their meeting received positive feedback from many people.
“Natutuwa ako na malaman na maganda yung reactions ng mga tao. It makes me feel happy, e, kasi parang ang tagal na rin naming nagkatrabaho at ang tagal na rin namin nawala together on screen,” she said.
Bea Alonzo also said that she’s open to the possibility of working again with John Lloyd Cruz, based on the report.
