Hidilyn Diaz wants Boyfriend to be Her Conditioning Coach
HIDILYN DIAZ – Pinay athlete Hidilyn Diaz asked the government to hire her boyfriend as her conditioning coach.
Filipino Olympic silver medalist Hidilyn Diaz is set to compete in Pattaya, Thailand for the International Weightlifting Federation World Championships this coming September 2019.
The 28-year-old athlete is among those who got the highest financial support in the national pool.
Following a previous article, Hidilyn Diaz asked for financial assistance for her 2020 Olympics in Tokyo.
The Pinay athlete took to the social media to appeal to the private companies to give her financial support.
“It is okay to ask sponsorship sa mga private companies towards Tokyo 2020? Sa tingin niyo okay lang kaya, nahihiya kasi ako pero try ko kapalan mukha ko para sa minimithi kong pangarap para sa ating bansa na maiuwi ang Gold Medal sa Olympics,” she said.
Recently, the former official of the Philippine Sports Commission (PSC), Dr. Aparicio Mequi, made a shocking revelation about Hidilyn Diaz’ latest request.
Mequi shared a photo of the Pinay athlete and her alleged boyfriend Julius Irvin Naranjo yesterday.
Several hours after the former PSC chairman introduced the alleged couple in social media, he explained in another post why he wanted the netizens to be aware of the relationship of Diaz and Naranjo.
Mequi claimed that the Pinay athlete requested the government to hire her alleged boyfriend as her conditioning coach.
However, the government did not grant her request after she disclosed that they need to pay Naranjo $1,500 or P78,000 monthly, a condominium and another $400 (P20,000) for utilities.
The former PSC chairman was skeptical after he learned about the athlete’s request. He said in his post that if her boyfriend truly loves her, he should give his services for free.
