Gary Lising Dies At 78, Son Found His Lifeless Body In Condo

Gary Lising passed away at the age of 78

Veteran comedian Gary Lising does at the age of 78 as his son found his lifeless body inside his condominium unit.

On May 31, Friday, Bugsy, the son of Gary, reportedly, found his father dead. A source told Inquirer that Bugsy went to the veteran comedian’s condo after he did not return calls and text messages.

The source added that Gary hasn’t been well lately.

It can be recalled in an interview back in 2013 that Gary shared that he suffered a heart attack in 2009.

He underwent angioplasty in 2012 more than once.

Gary Lising’s brother Pompeii Lising also confirmed this sad news.

Through his social media post, Pompeii said, “I am sad to inform some terrible news. We lost our beloved Gary Lising, my eldest brother, today. Gary, thank you for all the laughs and love, we will miss you deeply. But I know that your jokes will make God laugh. Rest in Peace my dear brother…”

However, the younger Lising did not reveal directly the cause of death of the veteran comedian.

Gary Lising is known for his comedic talent and green jokes. His collection of funny and witty jokes are documented in his books How Green Is Your Mind?; Golf, Erap and Other 4-Letter Words, Lifestyles of the Poor and Unknown, and Confessions of a D.O.M.

He was a part of TV gag show in the 1980s titled Champoy.

Among his notable movies in the 1990s were Run Barbi Run and Alyas Boy Tigas, based on the report from PEP.
