Malicious Videos Shared in Parokya Ni Edgar FB Page
PAROKYA NI EDGAR – Facebook Page of the Filipino rock band Parokya Ni Edgar got ‘hacked.’
Filipino rock band Parokya Ni Edgar is one of the widely known bands in the Philippines.
The Pinoy band has received several awards from various award-giving bodies. The bad was tagged as the “Pambansang Banda ng Pilipinas.”
Parokya Ni Edgar’s members were Chito Miranda, Vinci Montaner, Buwi Menesses, Darius Semana, Gab Chee Kee, and Dindin Moreno.
In 2013, a video of the lead vocalist Chito Miranda making love with Neri Naig went viral on social media and blog sites. He eventually married the former Kapamilya celebrity.
Aside from that, the leaked photos and videos appeared on Parokya Ni Edgar’s Facebook Page.
Now, the Facebook Page of Parokya Ni Edgar was ‘hacked’ again and it shows daring videos on the timeline.
Based on a report from ABS-CBN, on Thursday, May 30, the Chito Miranda shared a post saying they lost control of their page and were removed as the admins.
“Na-hack yung official Facebook page ng Parokya… tinanggal kami lahat as Admins. Ano kaya magandang gawin?”
According to the report, daring and malicious screenshots appeared on the Facebook Page of the band.
Since Thursday, their Page has been sharing malicious videos on the social media networking site.
Currently, they are trying to regain control of the page which has 5 million followers.
