Actor Mon Confiado entered the list of Twitter trending topics in the Philippines on May 28 due to this reason.
Mon is known to be a versatile actor. He already played various roles on TV and on the big screen. There are times that he is the protagonist, supporting actor, a villain, and a hero.
One of the prominent roles he portrayed was Emilio Aguinaldo in the historical movie Goyo.
However, he did not enter the list of trending topics because of his roles. On Tuesday, the name Mon is in the Philippines trends.
It is because many netizens said that he is one of the contestants in the KapareWho segment of Kapamilya noontime show, It’s Showtime.
The said segment is dedicated for women who are in search for the men who will be their companion in a date.
Two women have to choose from three KapareWho male contestants. Apparently, one of the male contestants, with the nickname Bampira Usog, caught the attention of many netizens.
Many perceived that he is Mon as they identified his voice. Unfortunately, the two women did not choose him which brought disappointed to some netizens.
