Duterte Reveals Something About His Health, Presidency
DUTERTE – President Rodrigo Duterte talked about his health condition and presidency.
Philippine President Rodrigo ‘Digong’ Duterte is the 16th president of the country succeeding Benigno Aquino III’s term.
The 74-year-old served as the mayor of Davao City for several years. He is admired by his people because of his strict manner of managing the place.
Rodrigo Duterte is the oldest politician to assume the highest position in the Philippine government.
During the oath-taking of the newly-appointed government officials on Monday, May 27. The president talked about his health and presidency.
Based on a report from Inquirer, President Rodrigo Duterte threw shades at his critics who kept on saying he’s diagnosed with a disease.
“Lahat na ng sakit na ano tinatapon na sa akin. Colon, sa ano…,” Duterte said.
According to the report, President Duterte mentioned about his ‘Colon’ and asked God.
“Tinanong ko ‘yung Diyos eh. Sabi ko, ‘‘God, ano ba itong presidente? Patagalan sa mundo o patrabaho tayo dito, and by the time we become unproductive, we should go out of this universe?’,” he said.
Lots of people got worried about his health after he arrived 2 hours late during the graduation rites of the Philippine Military Academy (PMA) on Sunday.
Based on the report, Duterte allegedly looking frail and wobbly. He almost fell while getting on the military jeep.
Palace spokesperson Salvador Panelo explained that the president was only sleepy and had only two hours sleep before he went on that event.
