About 80 Percent Of Soccsksargen’s Registered Voters Showed Up To Participate In The Election

80 PERCENT – Out of 2.43 million registered voters in Soccsksargen, 80 percent showed up to participate in 2019 Midterm polls last Monday.

The 2019 midterm election just got done and Filipinos are now following the partial count waiting for the official results. Here is a live update for the Election 2019 partial and unofficial results (Senatorial Race).

In Soccsksargen region, Director of Comelec-12 Renato Magbutay reported that the election process during the voting period was “generally peaceful and orderly.”

South Cotabato, North Cotabato, Sultan Kudarat and Sarangani is under Region 12.

He said that the voter turnout – the percentage of legit voters who cast a ballot in an election – was higher in this years record than last year, which was at 70 percent.

This is according to an article from Inquirer.

Magbutay also revealed that 30 of the SD cards used in the machines were corrupted and is being looked at by Comelec’s technical team to be resolved.

The 30 metioned SD cards hold about 0.94 percent of 3,200 machines deployed in the region for the election.

He also said that the votes that are supposed to be counted in the affected voting precincts will be fed to the vote counting machines with the supervision of election watchers by Tuesday.

Magbutay is looking forward get everything done by today.

As of now, the final result hasn’t been officially released yet. Constant updates are being posted regarding the partial results.

For the senatorial race, top 12 have already been identified but the poll count is still on-going.
