Vic Sotto’s Daughter Paulina Luz Launches Art Exhibit With Grandfather Arturo Luz
VIC SOTTO – Actor Vic Sotto’s daughter Paulina Luz is set to launch a joint art exhibit with her grandfather Arturo Luz.
Filipino actor and tv host have five children from different relationships. They are Oyo Boy, Danica, Vico, Baby Tali, and Paulina.
Paulina is his daughter with his former girlfriend Angela Luz who is the daughter of the National Artist for Visual Arts Arturo Luz.
Veteran artist Arturo Luz is a designer, sculptor, printmaker, and co-founder of modern Neo-Realist Philippine art school.
It seemed his granddaughter Paulina Sotto has followed his footsteps. When she was 24-years-old, her passion for abstract art grew strong.
She later decided to dedicate herself into her art and tried her luck in becoming a great artist like her granddad.
Based on a report from Inquirer, daughter of Vic Sotto, Paulina Sotto and Arturo Luz is set to exhibit their work of art at the third level of Rustan’s Shangri-La until April 30.
On May 3 to May 15, their paintings will be displayed at the 5th level of Rustan’s Makati.
According to the report, the creation of Paulina Sotto focuses on interesting shapes, clean lines, and abstract.
Vic Sotto’s daughter is a cum laude graduate from Ateneo with a degree in Communication. Despite living with her granddad Arturo Luz, becoming a full-time artist never crossed her mind.
Based on the report, this is the first time that the artwork of Arturo Luz and Paulina Luz collaborated on an exhibit.
The Pinoy department store aims to expose the talent and exquisite craftsmanship of the Pinoy artists. With this ides, it will enrich the lives and humble homes of the Filipino.
