Globe Tele Communication Company Apologizes For Disrupting Service And Restores Data Connection
GLOBE TELECOM – The Ayala-led Tele Communication company was hit by a servers issue earlier this day resulting to a nationwide disruption of mobile data services.
Back in January, a video of young man singing a parody of Ne-Yo’s song “Mad” by changing the lyrics to slam Globe’s slow internet connection. Read more about it here.
Recently, another incident triggered mobile data users to complain. An outage of mobile data services due to ‘servers issue’ occurred this morning, April 12 2019.
The disruption lasted for six hours and thirty minutes this morning. But according to the company, the data connection is now back on-line and that users should restart their devices to connect.
According to the report from ABS CBN News, Globe is the second company from Ayala Group of companies that was hit by a ‘servers issue’ after Bank of The Philippine Islands reported that their online and mobile services went out of order last Wednesday April 10.
However it was reported that the channels were brought back on Friday midnight.
Meanwhile, another Ayala-led company that runs water left queueing at rationing stations after being hit by a supply shortage last month.
Now that the mobile data services are restored, Globe Telecom sincerely expressed their apologies to the inconvenienced users. You may now enjoy browsing your favorite sites and playing your favorite online games!
