Based on a report from TMZ, Nicolas Cage and the makeup artist Erika Koike started last year April. On March 23, 2019, the couple applied for a wedding license and got married on the same day in Las Vegas.
By Wednesday, the famed actor filed for an annulment after four days. Nicolas said he and his estranged wife were so drunk and decided to get married.
According to the report, Erica Koike was the one who suggested for them to get married and Nicolas eventually approved it without recognizing and understanding the impact of his actions.
The actor said he was tricked because Erika did not reveal “the full nature and extent of their relationship with another person.”
Aside from that, the makeup artist also did not disclose her criminal history to the actor.
Based on the report, Nicolas Cage justified his annulment with Erika by stating that both of them had “such conflict in personalities and dispositions that are so deep as to render the two incompatible in marriage.”
The eyewitnesses also saw them having an argument and said the makeup artist was yelling at Nicolas.
Surely, the actor got sick and tired of his union with Erika after for days because he filed for an annulment.
