Cristine Reyes has finally spoken about her rumored separation from Ali Khatibi
Kapamilya actress Cristine Reyes revealed the truth regarding her rumored separation from husband Ali Khatibi.
Rumors about their separation started to surface early last year. However, both camps remained silent about this.
Fans of the actress noticed that she was no longer posting photos with her husband on Instagram. This fueled the speculations about their split.
Ara Mina, the older sister of Cristine, was asked about the rumors. She tried to explain that having indifference in a relationship is quite normal.
Then came the follow/unfollow issue on Instagram.
During an ambush interview last year, Cristine Reyes was asked about the rumors. She refused to answer and just went away. However, prior to that, she answered the questions about the award she got for her performance in Seven Sundays.
Now, the actress has finally broken her silence on the rumored separation.
Based on the report from PEP, she did not directly confirm nor deny the separation but she said, “We’re civil.”
“We’re in good terms, especially with things we have to do when it comes to Amarah,” she added.
Cristine was also asked about her point of view regarding marriage.
“Ideally, it shouldn’t end, but it depends on the circumstances…But for me, if you’re not happy, you should do something about it,” the actress said.
Based on the report, Cristine Reyes and Ali Khatibi got married back on January 27, 2016, in a civil wedding ceremony in Balesin.
