Here is the Schedule of Water Service Interruption Under Manila Water
MANILA WATER – The Manila Water released a new daily schedule of water service interruption.
Manila Water is having operational adjustments these following days or months that would cause water interruption in several areas.
Due to the continuous decline of water level in La Mesa Dam, the water agencies were initiating some operation adjustments.
Following a previous article, the public plans of the MWWS assure the water problems in Metro Manila and nearby provinces will be solved.
Based on a report from ABS-CBN, the east concession zone will be experiencing a water service interruption according to the new schedule released by Manila Water.
Their clients will experience 6 to 20 hours of water interruption daily starting March 14 or 15. The water problem may end after the summer season.
“With this, customers may experience from 6 to 20 hours of service interruption. However, when water is available in your taps, pressure may be lower than usual.”
“This scheme may last for the next three months or until the rainy season sets in,” it said.
According to the report, Manila Water stated the water interruption is their strategy “help slow down the rapid decline of the water level at La Mesa Dam.”
The water company’s emergency source is the La Mesa Dam. The water from La Mesa Dam was from the Angat Dam that is now running short due to the increase of demand.
Based on the report, the water company said Marikina, Pasig, Mandaluyong, Makati, Pateros, Taguig, San Juan, and parts of Manila and Quezon City, as well as the Rizal province, will be affected by the water interruption.
The schedule of the water interruption is released on the official Facebook account of the water company.
