Here’s Why Kara David Almost Resign From Her Job

KARA DAVID – Prominent broadcast journalist Kara David confessed that she almost quit her job.

Filipino tv host and journalist Kara David is a news anchor for i-Witness, News to Go and GMA News TV at the Kapuso network.

The prominent broadcaster was given several awards on her career including “Peabody Award,” “Outstanding Women in the Nation’s Service” (TOWNS), and “Ten Outstanding Young Men” (TOYM).

Kara David has already made hundreds of documentaries. Among her best documentaries include “Bitay,” “Buto’t Balat,” and “Ambulansiyang de Paa” among others.

The Kapuso news anchor is considered one of the kindest personalities in the industry. In fact, she is the founder of “Project Malasakit.”

A foundation that gives poor children an opportunity to go to school. Aside from that, it also gives medicine food and school supplies to remote communities.

Meanwhile, during Kara David’s interview with the digital program #RealTalk, she confessed that she once thought of quitting her job.

On the video, the news anchor disclosed that she wanted to quit working as media because several children who are subjects on her previous documentary died.

In the year 2005-2007, Kara David revealed that she was thinking of resigning from the network. This is due to the succeeding death of the malnourished children from Bicol.

Those were also the years where her team won numerous award because of that documentary “Buto’t Balat.”

Kara said she gathered a few donations after the launching of the documentary. She then called the mother in one of their case study “Angela” that she has money to send her to the hospital.

Unfortunately, the mother told her that Angela died. Later, Jeremy and July Ann also died. She really felt devastated about what happened to those children.
