Maine Mendoza felt humbled to be MAC’s new face representing Pinays
Phenomenal Star Maine Mendoza said “I’m just a barangay girl, why me?” on the opportunity to be the first Filipina to collaborate with internationally-acclaimed MAC Cosmetics.
January last year, the Eat Bulaga host created her own shade of lipstick under the famous cosmetic brand.
“So happy to let you guys know that I am creating my own lipstick with @maccosmetics! Feels surreal to be chosen as one of the influencers and to be the first Filipina to have a lipstick collab with MAC,” she previously wrote on Instagram.
That collaboration was a success as her lippie was a certified sold-out.
Maine’s opportunity to work with MAC last year was not the first and the last. Early this month, the Phenomenal Star flew to New York and everyone speculated that she will have a new MAC Lipstick.
However, this time, she will be the new face of StudioFix line.
“It really is a big deal. Honestly, It was a big opportunity to have her. We are one of the three markets to have a face,“ Brand Manager Gay Lao commented about Maine Mendoza.
