‘Kung Fu Hustle’ Sequel is Coming Says Stephen Chow
STEPHEN CHOW – Actor-director Stephen Chow officially announced the sequel of “Kung Fu Hustle.”
Chinese film director Stephen Chow is also an actor, martial artist, and political adviser in China. He was born in Hong Kong and live with his mother.
When he was 9 years old, the director confessed that after he saw the Bruce Lee movie titled “Big Boss,” it inspired him to become a martial artist.
Stephen Chow started his acting career in the children tv show “430 Space Shuttle” then given a break in the big screens in 1988 for the movie “Final Justice” which he won the Best Supporting Actor award.
China tagged him as “Stephen Chow Phenomenon” after his top grossing films “Fight Back To School,” “From Beijing with Love,” and “Shaolin Soccer.” In fact, he became Hollywood’s ninth-top-grossing Director.
In 2004, Stephen Chow won the Best Director award from Taiwan Golden Horse Award on his movie “Kung Fu Hustle” that grossed over $106 million.
Based on a report from Next Shark, the director just announced that he is currently working on the sequel of the film.
As soon as he finished his sequel to the film “The Mermaid”, he will pursue the making of “Kung Fu Hustle” part II.
According to the report, the beloved 2004 action-comedy film will not be a direct sequel because they will fit the settings to the modern day.
The actor-director plans to repeat his role as “Sing” on Kung Fu Hustle so as directing the movie.
Based on the report, despite the release date was not declared yet, the fans are already excited for the much-awaited film.
