Carmina Villarroel talks about past relationship with Rustom Padilla

Kapuso actress Carmina Villarroel said this about her past relationship with ex-husband Rustom Padilla: “Nakalimutan ko na talaga“.

Carmina got married to Rustom back in 1994 but their marriage only lasted for three years.

In 2006, the former action movie star joined the Pinoy Big Brother celebrity edition wherein he admitted that he is gay.

Three years after he admitted his sexuality on national TV, Rustom transformed to BB Gandanghari.

Prior to this, Carmina has received teasing from his former Palibhasa Lalake co-stars about the gender preference of her ex-husband. Due to this, she had a conflict with her co-stars in the show such as John Estrada.

Her relationship with Rustom was recalled during the press conference of her upcoming Kapuso soap opera Kara Mia, in which she will be working with John.

According to PEP’s report, Carmina Villarroel has accepted that chapter of her life with her ex-husband.

“Wala naman, kasi that’s really my past, as much as gusto ko kalimutan or burahin. I cannot, I cannot delete those chapters in my life,” she said.

For her, whatever happened with her and Rustom has something to contribute in her present life.

When asked if she has any regret about her past marriage, she said, “Kasi natuto na rin ako na wala namang mangyayari if i-regret mo ang isang bagay, e, di ba? Like I said, you just learn from your mistakes.”

The actress, who is now happily married to Zoren Legaspi, added it happened when she was still young and she a lot of more important things to think about than her past.
