Ria Atayde on Maine Mendoza, “I Like Her, She’s Very Real”
RIA ATAYDE – Kapamilya actress Ria Atayde said she likes Maine Mendoza because she’s a real person.
Maria Sophia Ocampo Atayde or better known as Ria Atayde is the daughter of the veteran actors Arturo Atayde and Sylvia Sanchez.
The ABS-CBN talent has three siblings namely Arjo Atayde, Maria Angela Atayde, and Juan Arturo Xavier.
She recently made a guesting on the show of the “King of Talk,” Boy Abunda. She was asked regarding the rumors of her brother Arjo Atayde and the Kapuso actress Maine Mendoza.
Arjo and Mendoza were frequently spotted together in places such as a restaurant and a concert.
The actions of the two celebrities triggered a lot of netizens to speculate that they have a romantic relationship. Both of them denied those allegations.
On the interview of Boy Abunda on Ria Atayde, she revealed that Maine Mendoza is one of the main reason why Arjo Atayde is inspired nowadays.
She also stated that she has no issue if Maine is going to be the future girlfriend of her brother and she’ll surely support both of them.
“They’re still getting to know each other and they’re friends… I like her, she’s very real,” Ria added.
Ria Atayde disclosed that she and Arjo Atayde don’t talk much about their love lives unless its ending or it’s going to the next level.
The actress also broke her silence regarding the bashing that Arjo got his success because he got linked to Mendoza.
“That’s unfair, he’s worked so hard to get where he is…and to discredit his work…not fair at all,” she said.
