Meanwhile, 21 people from Mexico died due to the gasoline explosion on their pipeline.
Based on the report from CNN, Hidalgo governor Omar Fayad said that 71 people got injured after the ruptured gasoline pipeline however 21 people died on the explosion.
The location of the explosion happened at the Tlahuelilpan, North of Mexico last Friday evening.
“The fire is still burning,” said Fayad.
According to the report, state oil company Pemex revealed on a statement that the incident was caused by the illegal taps. The governor of the area previously announced not to steal oil from the pipeline.
Pemex company announced that the people who reside near the explosion have already evacuated.
Fortunately, the incident that happened in the pipeline of Tlahuelilpan would not affect the distribution of gasoline in Mexico City.
Based on the report, the president of Mexico Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador gave his statement about the incident via Twitter.
“I’m very sorry for the serious situation in Tlahuelilpan due to a pipeline explosion. I’m in Aguascalientes and since the director of Pemex and the defense secretary briefed me, I gave instructions to contain the fire and treat the victims,” said Obrador.
The good president of Mexico is helping the injured victims and their families.
