International model Kat Gumabao is the sister of Michele Gumabao and Marco Gumabao. She is a plus-sized model from the Philippines.
She encourages all the women not to be ashamed to of their weight and feel comfortable on their body. “Your worth is not defined by a number on a scale or in a label,” she said.
Kat Gumabao previously joined the Melbourne Fashion Week Plus. The runway event was the first plus-sized fashion show in Australia.
The Filipina heard about the casting call and she immediately inquired if she can join the fashion show even if she is not based in that country.
After the fashion week in Australia, Kat Gumabao gained fame right away in her own country and made her fellowmen proud of her achievement.
Recently, the model shared a photo of her on her Instagram account. She show off her stretch marks and scars all over the internet.
Kat Gumabao wrote and inspiring cote for all her fans saying it’s okay to have a flaw in their physical appearance.
“Be REAL in this pretentiously perfect world. It’s normal to have stretch marks, a not so tight belly, acne, scars and whatever it is that you see when you zoom in”
Kat Gumabal also said that the social media could be an instrument to inspire a lot of people who has insecurities in their body.
“Stay away from accounts that make you jealous or question your life,” she said.
On the last part of Kat Gumabao’s caption, the model said that she will always be supporting her fans.
