Pastillas Girl comes back to showbiz through this video of Young JV
Angelica Jane Yap, also known as Pastillas Girl from ABS-CBN’s noontime show It’s Showtime is making a showbiz comeback through Young JV‘s video.
She gained popularity when It’s Showtime featured her as a girl who was finding Mr. Pastillas. That stint was supposed to beat the popularity of the AlDub tandem in Eat Bulaga.
AlDub, is known to many as a phenomenal tandem of Alden Richards and Maine Mendoza.
Their popularity skyrocketed through EB’s “Kalyeserye”.
However, AlDub’s fame surpassed the popularity of Pastillas Girl. There were intrigues against her that surfaced. Some rumors stated that she already had a child but had an abortion.
There was also a time that her stint in Showtime was tagged as “Bugawserye“.
It was also revealed that she was an AlDub fan before she appeared on the rival show.
There was even one netizen who wrote an open letter telling the alleged real traits of Pastillas Girl.
With this, her career in show business did not soar that high even though she had a transformation from a sweet girl to a more daring one.
It was also previously reported that she was already engaged to her boyfriend but she clarified that what she received was a promise ring and not an engagement ring.
Now, she is making a comeback through a video of singer-actor Young JV featuring the #UndecidedChallenge.
It is about the challenge popularized by American singer Chris Brown’s latest dance craze “Undecided”, based on PUSH’s report.
In the video, Young JV and Pastillas Girl played as a couple who seem to be interrupted by their circle of friends.
