Coco Martin Shares Devotion To The Black Nazarene During Vigil

Ang Probinsyano actor Coco Martin made a petition to the Black Nazarene to grant his wishes in life. His wishes were eventually granted by being a devotee.
He is just one of the famous celebrities who were a devotee to the image. Personalities like Noli de Castro, Angeline Quinto, and Bayani Agbayani were among million religious believers.
The Feast of the Black Nazarene is celebrated every January 9 where thousand devotees went to join the “Translacion”. Several celebrities participate on the procession of the statue from Rizal Park going to Quiapo church.
Meanwhile, Coco Martin performed on the Quirino Grandstand for the vigil of the Black Nazarene last January 8.
According to the report from ABS-CBN, Coco Martin sang the Rivermaya song titled “Awit Ng Kabataan” that is accordance to its current theme “Year of The Youth”.
After his performance, the actor shared a story on how he started being a devotee of the Black Nazarene.
Coco Martin said before he got into fame, he participated on the Feast of the Black Nazarene every year. He expressed that his wishes were granted and his struggles in life were fixed with the help of his faith in God.
Based on the report, the actor also shared that his showbiz career was bestowed on him by praying to the Nazarene.
