The Filipina beauty queen indeed showed a remarkable performance during the pageant held in Thailand last December 17.
After the pageant, she went back to the country but it was not yet her major homecoming.
Catriona just went back to the Philippines for a charity event.
Since the pageant was finished a few days before the holiday break, it was revealed in a previous report that the newly-crowned Miss Universe also had her rest.
On the 3rd of January, Catriona Gray shared on her Instagram post that she was heading to New York.
While doing her duties as the Miss Universe, she will be staying in the Big Apple.
She is ready to face the her role as the bearer of the most prestigious beauty pageant crown after spending the holiday season with her loved ones.
On her post, she also shared that she felt nervous about the fact that she is staying in New York.
