After she was crowned, the Filipina beauty queen had a moment with the press people.
During her interview with ABS-CBN reported Dyan Castillejo, Catriona shared a few things that happened while every candidate was waiting who will be crowned this year.
She said that she did not expect she will be crowned as Miss Universe 2018 until her name was announced.
For Catriona Gray, her initial prayer is to be on the Top 3 because she is a big fan of international singer Ne-Yo who serenaded the final 3 contestants.
She shared that before the announcement of the Top 3 she was dancing at the backstage because she was fangirling to Ne-Yo.
The Bicolana beauty also shared about the things she did at the catwalk during the finals.
“Waiting for the announcement, I was just praying and I was just looking at the people because that is why I am here. As long as I make them proud, then I have done my duty,” Catriona Gray said.
The newly-crowned Miss Universe also shared that she just did her trademark moves, such as her slow-mo turn and her twirl.
