Jessy Mendiola speaks up about the airplane incident with Enrique Gil in 2015
The Girl In The Orange Dress actress Jessy Mendiola finally breaks her silence on 2015 airplane incident with Enrique Gil.
During the press conference of her Metro Manila Film Festival 2018 movie entry with Jericho Rosales, the Kapamilya star has spoken about this.
Based on the report published on the website of Philippine Entertainment Portal, Jessy experienced harassment during her flight to London in 2015.
What happened?
It was said that she, together with boyfriend Luis Manzano had an encounter with Enrique Gil who was with his girlfriend Liza Soberano.
According to the report, Enrique was drunk and he was pissing off Jessy during their flight.
Jessy, reportedly, ignored what was the reel and real-life partner of Liza was doing to her.
That reaction from Jessy annoyed Enrique, based on the report. In that instance, Luis handled the situation and stopped Enrique.
It was said that the two Kapamilya actors had a confrontation.
After the incident
When asked if Enrique had already asked an apology because of what happened, Jessy Mendiola said, “A, hindi.”
The follow-up question was if forgiveness already took place between them.
“Nag-move on na ako,” the Kapamilya actress briefly said.
She further explained why she chose to move on from that incident three years ago.
“May mga bagay… ikaw din kasi ang mahihirapan, e, kapagka hindi mo ni-let go yung mga ganung bagay. And now, okay na ako, e. May mas malala pang bagay na nangyari sa akin,” she shared.
The actress added that obviously, she is happy right now and she advised everyone not to let depression overpower the situation.
Then, the press asked her if she really felt harassed of what Enrique did to her. With affirmation, Jessy Mendiola said, “Yes.”
When asked if the actor was drunk at that time, based on the report, she said, “Hindi ko alam. Baka stressed lang siya.”
