Regine Velasquez Makes Confession On Tonight With Boy Abunda About Her 20-Year Stay In GMA Network
REGINE VELASQUEZ – Asia’s Songbird Regine Velasquez made a confession on Tonight With Boy Abunda show about her 20-year stay in GMA.
Singer-actress Regina Encarnacion Ansong Velasquez or better known as Regine officially became a Kapamilya talent last October.
Velasquez has already appeared on ABS-CBN shows like Gandang Gabi Vice, ASAP and Tonight With Boy Abunda talk show.
During her interview guesting with the King of Talk, Boy Abunda, she made some revelations about her two decades of stay in the Kapuso network.
Regine Velasquez shared something about her career that people don’t know about her 20-years stay in GMA. She also spoke about the people’s comment regarding her transfer to the other tv network.
On the interview, Velasquez said that she already expected the bashing but people came to the extent of questioning her loyalty to the previous network.
The award-winning singer finally decided to speak up and defend herself because there is a lot they yet to know before giving her hurtful feedbacks.
Regine Velasquez stated where do the people get the idea that she’s being unloyal to GMA network when she even stayed there even half of those years and she didn’t even have an exclusive contract.
Velasquez said she stayed in the Kapuso network because she just simply wanted to work with them.
“Sa totoo lang…expected ko yun (bashing)…Ang hindi ko expected was for the whole thing to be such a big deal.”
“Pinaka-napikon?… sa walang utang na loob…not a lot of people know that in my 20 years in GMA, kalahati doon wala akong kontrata”
“Hindi ko naintindihan kung bakit ako walang utang na loob when my 20 years, half of that I didn’t have a contract because I wanted to be with them,” she added.
