Here Is the List Of Marvel Characters Created By Stan Lee (A-B)
STAN LEE – In this article, we will have a series of list of Marvel Characters created by Marvel co-founder Stan Lee (C-D).
Recently, Stan Lee died at age 95 on Monday (November 12). Celebrities gave their thanks and condolences for the co-founder of Marvel. So as a tribute we will have a list of characters that he created or contributed to. This list will summarize the characters from A-B.
Here are the following Marvel characters (A-B):
A
- Abomination – also created by artist Gil Kane, Abomination is a villain who is also the rival of The Hulk. He was featured in the 2008 film “The Incredible Hulk. He first appeared in Tales to Astonish #90. His alter ego is Emil Blonksy, a KGB agent who was sent to an Air Force Base in New Mexico to photograph equipment when he bombarded himself with a much higher dose of gamma radiation and transforms for the first time when Bruce Banner walks in and is nearly killed.
- Absorbing Man – a supervillain who first appeared in Journey Into Mystery #114. He has the ability to take the form of any material he touched, thus, “absorbing” the property of the material itself. His alter ego is Carl “Crusher” Creel, a boxer and jailed criminal. He got his powers when he drank the liquid which the Asgardian god Loki laced with a magic potion.
- Acrobat – A villain. Acrobat was a former circus player which the Human Torch defeated in Strange Tales #106.
- Actor – A villain of Iron Man. He has the ability to impersonate anyone he saw.
- Adria – One of Kaecillus’ cohorts in Doctor Strange. She attempted to use a powerful gem against Strange, yet ended up banished.
- Aged Genghis – A man who sought out the Vishanti and asked them for knowledge and mystical power. In return, Aged Genghis would gather the most powerful mages and sorcerers on Earth every century to test them.
- Agent X – First appeared in Ghost Rider Vol 3 #29. James Burley was originally hired by Penner Security Associates before leading the rest of the Next Wave into his own team of freelance mercenaries.
- Agon – From Inhumans. Agon is the father of Black Bolt, the child of Symak, and husband to Rynda. He was elected head of the Inhumans Genetic Council circa 1870.
- Air-Walker – First appeared in Fantastic Four #120. Air Walker/Gabriel Lan is a member of the Xandarian Nova Corps and the captain of the diplomatic and exploratory spaceship Way-Opener. He possessed superhuman strength, endurance, reflexes and reactions, mastery of the electromagnetic spectrum and total immunity to the rigors of space.
- Liz Allan – first named in The Amazing Spider-Man #4 and a supporting character in the Spider-Man series. She is a high school student that attended Midtown High School together, and a minor love interest of Peter Parker and Flash Thompson.
- Amphibion – First appeared in Tales to Astonish #73. Amphibion is a former villain and an occasional ally of the Hulk. Amphibion has superhuman strength and is able to hold his own in a fight against the Hulk. He is also proficient in a multitude of fighting skills/techniques, and able to breathe underwater and on the surface.
- Ancient One – First appeared in Strange Tales #110. He was the mentor of Doctor Strange and was his predecessor as Sorcerer Supreme.
- Annihilus – First appeared in Fantastic Four Annual #6 . He, at various times, been the ruler of the Negative Zone, controlling its inhabitants via his powerful Cosmic Control Rod. He first encountered the Fantastic Four after Reed Richards discovered how to travel to the Negative Zone from Earth.
- Ant-Man – First appeared in Tales to Astonish #35 . Three men have earned the title of Ant-Man. They are: Hank Pym; Scott Lang; and Eric O’Grady. Ant-Man wears a suit, which has the ability to shrink in height but doubled in terms of strength.
- Ape-Man – There are three people who took the mantle of Ape-Man. First was Monk Keefer who first appeared in The Avengers #12; then Roy McVey, who first appeared in Daredevil #157; and an unknown third Ape-Man, who appeared in Code of Honor #3.
- Ares – Ares first appeared in Thor #129 . He is a villain in both Thor and The Avengers.
- Asbestos Man – First debut in Strange Tales #111. His alter-ego is Dr. Orson Karloff, a self-proclaimed world’s foremost analytical chemist, who invented a chemical that can melt metal among other things.
- Athena – First appeared in Thor #164. Athena fought Thor when Zeus had convinced her that the Avengers were enemies of Olympus.
- Attuma – first appeared in Fantastic Four #33, Attuma is a supervillain who is enemy of Namor the Sub-Mariner, and is the father of the superhero Andromeda.
- Avengers – The fictional team of superheroes who made their debut in The Avengers #1. The team is composed of famous Marvel superheroes that we adore and love.
- Awesome Android – First appeared in Fantastic Four #15. He is the creation of the Mad Thinker, and have had run-ins with most of Marvel’s major superheroes.
B
- Balder the Brave – First appeared in Journey into Mystery #85. Balder is one of the Norse Gods of Asgard; the half-brother of the Thunder God Thor; companion to the Warriors Three; and a loyal follower and son of Odin, ruler of the gods.
- Batroc the Leaper – First appeared in Tales of Suspense #75. He is a mercenary and a master of the French form of kick boxing known as savate.
- Beast – A mutant from X-Men. He first appeared in X-Men #1. His alter ego is Hank McCoy and possesses neotenous characteristics, which may explain him having a genius-level intellect despite his animal physique. He also possesses superhuman strength, speed and agility and is an excellent hand-to-hand combatant.
- Beetle – A name that has been used by multiple individuals such as Abner Jenkins, Leila Davis, the three Beetles, Janice Lincoln, and Hobgoblin’s Beetle.
- Billy Connors – First appeared in The Amazing Spider-Man #6. He is a supporting character of Spider-Man and is the son of Dr. Curt Connors, who is also known as the Lizard.
- Black Bolt – The son of Arum. He first appeared in Fantastic Four #45. Black Bolt is the leader of the Inhumans, a reclusive race of genetically altered superhumans.
- Black Knight – Many have took the mantle of Black Knight like Sir Percy of Scandia, Nathan Garrett, Dane Whitman, Augustine du Lac,and a female Black Knight.
- Black Panther – First appeared in Fantastic Four #52. The name is ceremonial title given to the king of the Panther Tribe of the advanced African nation of Wakanda. The current owner of the title is T’Challa, son of T’Chaka, the previous Black Panther.
- Black Widow – A name that was given to many individuals, with the first one being Natasha Romanoff, who first appeared in Tales of Suspense #52.
- Blastaar – First appeared in Fantastic Four #62. He is an enemy of the Fantastic Four and a rival to Annihilus in the Negative Zone.
- Blizzard – Three men took the role of Blizzard: Gregory Shapanka in Iron Man #86; Donald Gill in Iron Man #223; and Randy Macklin in Marvel Holiday Special #2.
- Blob – First appeared in The X-Men #3. Frederick J. “Fred” Dukes is a supervillain in X-Men.
- Bluebird – First appeared in Amazing Fantasy #15. Her alter-ego is Sally Avril, a fellow student of Peter Parker’s at Midtown High who turned him down for a date, preferring the more handsome and muscular Flash Thompson. She relies on gadgets to fight crime.
- Boomerang – First appeared in Tales to Astonish #81. Boomerang is a supervillain and has been into many teams who fought superheroes, including Spiderman.
- Bor Burison – first appeared in Journey into Mystery #97. He is an Asgardian in the Marvel Universe. Bor is the ruler of Asgard where under his rule he created the universe. He eventually married the giantess Bestla and had four sons with her named Cul, Vili, Ve and Odin.
- Betty Brant – First appeared in The Amazing Spider-Man #4 . She is the secretary-then-reporter working for J. Jonah Jameson at the Daily Bugle, where Peter Parker worked.
- Brother Vodoo – First appeared in Strange Tales #169. He is a superhero whose alter-go is Jericho Drumm and possesses numerous mystical and quasi-physical powers derived from the Loa, the spirit-gods of voodoo.
- Brotherhood of Mutants – A legion of mutants led by Magneto who are the enemies of X-Men. They first appeared in X-Men #4.
- Burglar – The first criminal faced by Spiderman and later the murderer of Peter Parker’s uncle Ben Parker. He first appeared in Amazing Fantasy #15.
