Sheena Halili Defends Alleged Dating Photos of Maine Mendoza, Arjo Atayde
SHEENA HALILI – Kapuso star Sheena Halili defended Maine Mendoza and Arjo Atayde over their alleged dating photos.
The Filipino actress, Sheena Halili, became popular for playing the role of Monica on the 2007 tv series titled MariMar.
She is currently under contract with the GMA network and was part of the tv drama series titled Impostora lead by Kris Bernal and Rafael Rosell.
Based on a report from PEP, Halili speaks up regarding the leaked photo of Arjo Atayde and her fellow Kapuso star, Maine Mendoza.
Actress Maine Mendoza and Arjo Atayde were recently spotted at a restaurant in Makati City which sparked the speculation that the two celebrities are dating.
Sheena Halili disagreed those speculations and said they are just working for the same movie.
“Sa pagkakaalam ko, may work sila together, may movie sila para sa MMFF,” she said.
Maine is one of the casts of the 2018 Metro Manila Film Festival entry titled Jack Em Popoy: The Puliscredibles with Vic Sotto and Coco Martin.
The Kapamilya actor, Arjo Atayde, is also one of the casts of that movie. Halili admitted that she’s not really that close to Arjo but she remarked that he’s a good person.
“Kaibigan ko yung sister niya, si Ria, magkasama kami sa movie,” she added.
The ABS-CBN actress, Ria Atayde, is the younger sister of Arjo which is also Sheena’s co-star in an MMFF 2018 entry titled Girl In The Orange Dress.
According to the report, Sheena is just laughing regarding the issue that Maine and Arjo are dating. She said there is no reason to put meaning on that because they are just plain and simple friends.
“Friendly lang naman talaga si Maine,” she said.
