Regine Velasquez said that GMA can’t beat the success of Ang Probinsyano

Asia’s Songbird Regine Velasquez admitted that no show from GMA can beat Ang Probinsyano of ABS-CBN.

The Kapamilya primetime action-drama series has been airing for three years now.

Now, that Regine is already a Kapamilya, she said that shows from her former network do not have the capacity to beat the show of Coco Martin.

Aside from her upcoming stint as a judge of Idol Philippines in the Kapamilya network, she is also set to do a sitcom with husband Ogie Alcasid.

Based on the article published in Bandera, the Songbird will also be included in ABS-CBN’s teleseryes and one of those is Ang Probinsyano.

In line with this, the singer said that no one could beat the show of Coco even the one she did in GMA which she played as a goddess.

“He’s such a gentleman, at parang mahiyain siya. Nakakatuwa. Eh ‘yung sa soap ko na ‘yon, goddess ako doon. Namatay ako. Goddess nga ako. Namatay ako. Buhay pa rin si Coco. Hahahahaha!” Regine Velasquez quipped.

The diva also said, “Three years na sila, ‘di ba? At parang 12 shows, o 15 na ang itinapat ng GMA sa Ang Probinsyano.”

Behind this, Regine said that they tried their best.

When asked if she is willing to guest in Coco’s series, she said a positive answer.

“Go ako diyan. Puwede kaya ‘yon? Pero gusto ko ex-(dyowa) ako. Ang labo naman. Hahahaha!” she said with jest.

The Songbird also joked that she will do anything in the Kapamilya network, even delivering the news.
