Chris Villanueva unveiled the winning secret of her beauty queen daughter Zara Carbonell
Actor Chris Villanueva revealed the secret of his daughter, Zara Carbonell, in winning an international beauty title.
Zara just recently won the Miss Tourism Worldwide crown during the international pageant in Indonesia.
Based on the article published in Inquirer, Chris shared why her daughter brought home the crown.
“She has a way of convincing people. She has her own mind, that’s what I love about her,” the actor said.
He also said that Zara is someone who can impart knowledge to others. Chris Villanueva added, “She would not just accept what you’re saying; you have to prove it to her.”
Aside from this, the proud father related that he also learned determination from his daughter.
“I also learned from her that if you want something, and you dream about it, don’t stop at anything. She did not,” Chris shared.

This goes to show that the actor is really proud of how his daughter achieved her dreams.
It is because Zara’s beauty pageant stints were not all happy endings. She started joining beauty pageants when she was in college.
Her first crown was from her title Miss Teenager Philippines when she joined the Binibining Unibersidad back in 2012.
In 2017, she joined the Miss World Philippines wherein she ended up as the Second Princess.

Zara also tried out for Binibining Pilipinas last year, based on the article. On the other hand, she was not able to get a spot as an official candidate.
The daughter of Chris Villanueva thought that will be the end of her beauty pageant stints. However, she was wrong because an international crown was waiting for her.
“When you are confident … and you are not afraid of the steps that you have to take, then it shows. And that’s something I also take pride in when it comes to the journey that I had to go through to get here,” Zara shared.
