PNP to file charges against Mocha Uson’s blogger friend Drew Olivar
Philippine National Police (PNP) reportedly will file charges against blogger Drew Olivar, the friend of PCOO Assistant Secretary Mocha Uson who was with her in controversial Federalism video.
The two went controversial after posting on social media their promotional video about Pederalismo.
Recently, Drew Olivar received another round of criticisms for making up bomb scare on EDSA.
In line with the commemoration of the declaration of Martial Law, human rights groups usually organize rallies on the said area.
With this, Drew posted on his Facebook account, which is now deleted, that people should not gather there because there were rumors that the same Plaza Miranda bombing might happen again.
The blogger was under fire because of this.
Presidential Decree No. 1727, series of 1980 stated that the “law prohibited any person to spread false information that concerns bombs, explosives or any other similar device or means of destruction.”
Because of this, as it was posted on the official Facebook account of Super Radyo DZBB, the PNP will file charges against Drew Olivar.
PNP Chief Dir. Gen. Oscar Albaylde confirmed this report.
