Paulo Avelino revealed the actor he will choose to replace his role in ‘Goyo: Ang Batang Heneral’
‘Goyo: Ang Batang Heneral’ actor Paulo Avelino revealed his choice actor to replace him as Gregorio del Pilar.
The sequel to the hit historical movie of TBA Studios ‘Heneral Luna‘, is currently showing in cinemas. The film company that is behind John Arcilla‘s blockbuster film is also hoping that ‘Goyo’ will also received the same response from movie goers.
Based on the article published in PEP, ‘Heneral Luna’ had a budget of P80 million and it had a gross income of P256 million.
Paulo, along with the whole production team, also want to have the same success with the sequel.
They are hoping for a positive outcome despite the fact that Goyo has the same play date with the Korean movie ‘Along with the Gods: The Last 49 Days’. It is the sequel of the blockbuster movie ‘Along with the Gods: The Two Worlds’.
For an additional treat to those who will watch ‘Goyo’, they will have a chance to see Paulo in person because he will have a surprise visit at random cinemas.

One of the netizens asked the actor who he wants to replace him as Goyo in the movie. Paulo Avelino answered that he will choose ‘The Hows of Us’ actor Daniel Padilla.
He said that the role would be fit to Daniel. Several netizens agreed on his answer. It is because Gregorio del Pilar, the hero of Tirad Pass, died when he was 24 years old. Paulo is already 30 years old now while Daniel is 23, based on the article.
Basing on the age, Daniel is almost the same age with the “Batang Heneral”.
