Netizens slammed the GMA ‘s Twitter post with wrong caption

The Twitter account of GMA News posted something that received criticisms from netizens.

Just like any news entity, the Kapuso network is also using social media platforms in relating news and updates to the public. Social media is an effective tool to disseminate to the people what they need to know.

Facebook, Twitter and Instagram are three of the most popular social media sites that people around the globe are using.

In line with this, netizens, or the citizens of the cyber world, can also interact easily to others through social media. On the other hand, these modern platforms of communication are also an open field for ideas, opinions, suggestions and even criticisms.

With this, GMA, one of the biggest media companies in the country, could not escape also the criticisms from netizens.

The Twitter account of the Kapuso network’s news site posted an article about Hollywood actresses Blake Lively and Anna Kendrick.

However, the caption on the post is far different from the article.

“Rita Daniela emotional na nagkuwento sa pagkakuha niya sa role sa ‘My Special Tatay’,” the caption of the post said.

Netizens who have seen the post commented right away.

Twitter user @cool_eyes2 commented that the subject and content did not sync and he even took a screenshot of it.

Several netizens laughed about the unintentional mistake of GMA ‘s Twitter account in posting an article while some called out the person who posted it to wake up.

Some netizens iterated that the link is not the same as the caption.
