BIKE HELMET – One person managed to create a bike helmet out of a material that is unexpectedly clever and useful for safety.
When you want to go for a ride regardless of the vehicle you are using, it is best to perform preventive measures before your’re good to go. It’s better safe than sorry.
For cars, you need to fasten your seat belts in order to prevent you from hitting your head on the glass or send you flying; for motorcycles and bikes, you need to wear helmets to reduce shock from your head.
But what if you don’t have a helmet to begin with? You need to buy one, of course. However, what if you don’t have the necessary cash to afford a helmet? That is one of the possible thought for one person so he decided to make one. But how? Let’s find out.
A Facebook Page named Pilipino Star Ngayon recently posted a photo of a biker facing against the camera. The interesting part of the photo is the helmet that he is wearing. Take a look below:
The helmet appears to be made out of a coconut and it’s surprisingly clever as coconuts are known to be very hard that it can protect the juice inside. Not only that, even when it falls and lands on the ground, coconuts oftentimes do not break.
The coconut was then chiseled out until it has the exact shape of a helmet. It was then carved with diamond-shaped holes, thus, replicating the holes above the bike helmet. It was then added with attachments so it wouldn’t fall off.
