Willie Revillame revealed some details regarding his conversation with Sara Duterte
‘Wowowin’ host Willie Revillame has been thinking if he will accept the offer of political parties in the Philippines.
Until now, he is still in the dilemma of “to run or not to run”. Previously, the Kapuso host had a meeting with Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte who is also the head of Hugpong ng Pagbabago (HNP) party.
Their meeting sparked speculations about the alleged political plans of Willie. However, the purpose of their rendezvous was not revealed to the public that time.
Since his popularity is undeniable, political parties might have thought that it would help him get the needed votes.
“I admit that people from different political parties have been inviting me to run, kung sinu-sino ang kumakausap sa akin,” he shared.
On the other hand, Willie Revillame said that there is nothing final yet.
During the time he had meeting with Inday Sara, he said that she just asked him the position he wants.
“She just asked me about my plan, lokal ba o national and I told her that I had no plans yet, that I am still thinking hard about it,” Willie revealed.
He also said that the presidential daughter did not invite him to join HNP.
Aside from Sara Duterte, Former Quezon City Representative Mike Defensor also approached him about politics. According to the TV host, he also told him the same.
Another factor that is still holding him back to come up to a decision is his TV program ‘Wowowin’.
Willie Revillame said that the fact that he was able to provide help and entertainment through his Kapuso show hinders him to decide abruptly.
He can no longer be the host of the show when he finally decides to be in politics, based on the article published in The Philippine Star.
