Brand New PNP Helicopter Tumbles Tents And Huge LED Billboard In Camp Crame

PNP HELICOPTER – During the PNP  Service Anniversary attended by President Duterte, a brand new PNP Helicopter flew and blew the tents and LED billboard.

PNP recently bought a brand new Bell 249 helicopter last March that cost at about ₱435 million. PNP said that in the future months, they plan on buying four more choppers from France’s Airbus Industries.

They confessed that the pilots were trying to get used at the speed with the choppers ever since a decade without flying assets.

According to a report in ABS-CBN, People who attended the event ran for safety as the tents were blown away by the helicopter. The chopper flew too close to the ground, giving strong winds which toppled the tents where the attendees sat under.

It then blew the LED screen next to the tents. Luckily, there were no casualties in the incident. However, the damage that the chopper inflicted, especially on the LED lights, cost at about ₱3 million.
