John Lapus to sell his pre-loved X-Men Comics Collection.

JOHN LAPUS- Comedian John “Sweet” Lapus turns sentimental over separating ways with his X-Men Comic Book Collection.

Based on a previous report, John Lapus otherwise known with his screen name ‘Sweet’, is a Filipino actor, host and a comedian. He started his career in the Philippine Entertainment Industry way back in 1993 and was able to establish nationwide popularity since then.

The comedian has made appearances in a string of movies and television shows but was known more for his roles in Shake, Rattle and Roll.

On May 2, John took to Instagram to promote his booth ‘#SweetStuff’ on the annual Grand Celebrity Bazaar. In the said event, Filipino celebrities and online influencers showcase their top-of-the-line products and pre-loved items.

The comedian posted a photo of him alongside with the complete set of X-Men Comic Book Collection which he will be displaying in his booth.

Based on his caption, it was evident that John was relatively emotional upon parting ways with his much-loved collections. He reminisced about how he used to allot his spare time on reading those in National Bookstore as he could not yet afford to buy his own.

As he narrated, he passionately purchased the said comics in 1993 after producing decent money by means of various television stints. The X-Men Comics was the first collection John ever had.

The comedian then ended his caption by reminding the soon-to-be owner of the comic books, which he value as treasures to take good care of them like he did.

In addition, John showed his signature wits when he marketed his pre-loved collection through addressing the positive effects of the books to children such as driving their attention away from gadgets and technologies.

Proceeds from the Bazaar is revealed to be allotted for his grandson Dylan’s tuition fees.
