Here are the highest-paying professions for fresh graduates in the Philippines.
FRESH GRADUATES- Jobstreet.com recently shared its annual information and report findings on which jobs pay fresh graduates the highest, April 18.
Jobstreet.com is Southeast Asia’s largest online employment company serving over 11 million job seekers and 80,000 corporate costumers. Every year, the company releases its Fresh Graduate Report, mostly during peak recruitment season in March and April.
Amidst the graduation season, we share to you the 2018 annual salary report released by Jobstreet.com to guide jobseekers, most especially fresh graduates decide which ideal jobs too look for and to reduce the population of unemployed Filipinos in the country.
Based on a report from Rappler, Philip Gioca, Jobstreet Philippines’ country manager said that four new specializations made it to this year’s list. Among the fresh on the list are human resources, marketing/business development, customer services, and quality control/assurance.
“These specializations are actually not just the traditional ones but majority of them has influence or has a criteria for online or digital,” Gioca said, denoting that more employers are hiring fresh graduates for works that entails online and digital expertise.
Here is the list of 10 Highest-Paying Jobs for fresh graduates and their corresponding salaries:
1. Law / Legal services: P27, 355
2. Public Relations / Communications: P24, 675
3. Journalism: P22, 446
4. Advertising / Media Planning: P22, 436
5. Training and Development: P22, 371
6. Information Technology: P21, 947
7. Human Resources: P21, 462
8. Marketing and Business Management: P21, 216
9. Customer Services: P20, 340
10. Quality Assurance: P20,333
As stated in the report, Law and Legal Services capped the aforementioned list with an average salary of P27, 355.00, creating a vast margin of error than the rest of the jobs included. Public Relations/Communications, Journalism and Advertising/Media Planning also topped the list of the leading industries that offers a good pay to fresh graduates.
Results from Jobstreet.com’s 2018 Fresh Graduate Report are based on a survey conducted last February 2018 comprising a sample size of 503 employers from different parts of the Philippines, along with Jobstreet.com’s October to December 2017 data.
