Netizens were mix reaction to the controversial statement of PCOO Assistant Secretary Mocha Uson when she mentioned earlier that Mayon Volcano is now in Naga City.
Recently, Mocha Uson went to the social networking site, Facebook wherein she fired back at her critics who slammed her over the award she received from University of Santo Tomas Alumni Association Inc.
According to her, the people are using the said issue regarding the award to divert people’s attention from controversies like the Dengvaxia controversy, Sen. Drillon allegedly accepting money from Janet Lim-Napoles, and the eruption of Mayon Volcano… in Naga.
“Ginagamit po ng ilang mga tao itong maliit na issue sa award para pagtakpan yung issue ng Dengvaxia, issue ng pagtanggap diumano ni Senator Drilon ng pera galing kay Napoles, at yung pinakamahalaga pa yung nangyayari sa Naga, ‘Yang pag-aalburuto ng Mayon volcano,” she said in a video.
Although Mocha Uson has admitted her mistake of locating the Mayon Volcano, her statement has already generated reactions from the netizens.

The Bicol Region (Region V) comprises six provinces: Albay (where Mayon Volcano in Legaspi City is located), Camarines Norte, Camarines Sur (where Naga City is located), Camarines Norte, Sorsogon, Catanduanes, and Masbate.
