Actress Melissa Ricks revealed in an interview the real reason why she still hasn’t returned to show business, especially on acting.
“Right now, hindi pa rin ako tumatanggap [ng project] because I’m trying to work on my weight. Hopefully maabot natin ang dapat nating maabot, and then I’ll probably be ready to go back,” Melissa Ricks said.
“Meron namang mga offers na guestings and stuff like that, pero I want to come back a better and a new me. So hintay-hintay na lang muna,” she added.
Based on her statement in an interview with entertainment site, Push, she’s exploring different kinds of workout routines at the moment.
“Right now I’m doing Plana Forma which are bar exercises. I also run in UP… I’m trying a new workout, it’s more of weight training. I exercise twice a week lang, pero iba-iba. I try to mix it up,” Melissa Ricks shared.
Melissa Ricks said that she’s also busy taking care of her three-year-old daughter named Kiera.
“Sobrang good so far. Maraming blessings na pumapasok and good pa naman ang flow, so sana tuloy-tuloy for the rest of 2018,” she said.
Melissa Ricks started off in showbiz when she became part of the reality talent search Star Circle Quest on ABS-CBN.
