Kapamilya actor JC Santos went emotional while apologizing to his longtime ex-girlfriend, theater actress Teetin Villanueva.
In his guest appearance on late-night show, Tonight With Boy Abunda on Tuesday, January 16, JC directly said; “Opo, naghiwalay na kami ni Teetin.”
JC Santos admitted that “third party” is the reason behind their breakup, but he clarified that he’s not referring to a person.
“Opo, ang masasabi ko ay third party—at yung third party na yun ay yung career ko,” the lead actor on the movie entitled “Mr. and Mrs. Cruz,” said.
“Ayaw ko kasing maging unfair sa kanya, kasi po, sobrang selfless yung pagmamahal ni Teetin para sa akin, sobra. Naa-appreciate ko nang sobra. Nagiging unfair ako sa kanya dahil nawawalan ako ng time,” he added.
JC also agreed with the statement of Teetin Villanueva on social media that it’s impossible for now to mend their relationship.
He then apologized to Teetin.
Here’s his message:
“Teetin, I’m sorry I let you down.
“Nandito pa rin naman ako, if ever, para maging kaibigan.
“You deserve to be happy. Pasensiya na kung hindi ko maibigay sa ‘yo yun.
“Kasi nga, Tito Boy, napaka-loving ni Teetin at hindi ko mapantayan yung pagmamahal na yun.
“You deserve someone better.”
According to the actor, he learned that when it comes to a relationship, “Commitment talaga is a big responsibility.”
