The December 2017 Criminologist Licensure Examination will be administered by the Professional Regulatory Board of  Criminology on December 8-10, 2017, at designated testing centers nationwide.

REGISTRATION DATE

The schedule of online application for the issuance of Certificate of Registration and Professional ID will be announced by PRC.

Duly Accomplished Oath Form
Notice of Admission (NOA)
Two (2) pieces of colored passport ID picture with white background and nametag
Two (2) sets of doc stamps

RELEASE DATE

The results of December 2017 Criminologist Board Exam is expected to be released on January 16, 2018 (Tuesday)or twenty six (26) working days  after the last day of the examination. However, the list of passers may be released earlier or later without prior notice from PRC.

Day 1

  • Criminal Jurisprudence, Procedure And Evidence (Criminal Law Book I, Criminal Law Book II; Criminal Procedure, Evidence and Court Testimony) 20%

Day 2

  • Criminalistics (Personal Identification, Police Photography, Forensic Ballistics, Questioned Documents Examination, Polygraph — Lie Detection, Legal Medicine) 20%
  • Crime Detection And Investigation (Fundamentals of Criminal Investigation, Traffic Management and Accident Investigation, Special Crime Investigation, Organized Crime Investigation, Drug Education and Vice Control , Fire Technology and Arson Investigation) 15%

PREVIOUS EXAM

[June 2017 Criminologist Board Exam]

A total of  5,202 examinees out of 20,819 takers passed the board exam.  Gander Suello Quillip from University of Mindanao – Digos College topped the June 2017 Criminologist Board Exam with 88.40%.  While the University of the Cordilleras (UC) was the top performing school with 95.88% passing rate.
