Remember Ate Glow? Here’s What Happened to Her After She Left Showbiz

Renee Hampshire or popularly known as Ate Glow came to prominence for her impersonation of former president Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo.

She first appeared on television via the street segment of defunct Studio 23 program Wazzup Wazzup.

In 2004, she had her first movie stint in the movie entitled My First Romance, where she appeared as the character “Yaya Glow”

Former president Arroyo herself even chose her to be the ambassador of her administration’s anti-illegal drugs campaign.

However, her fame gradually declined with the end of Arroyo’s term as president in 2010. She last appeared in the 2012 film Moron 5 and the Crying Lady.

After her brief showbiz career, she went abroad where she found the love of her life.

But before she finally found the one, she had two serious relationships; one with a Filipino and another with an Irish Caucasian man in Dublin.

And last July 2, 2016, she tied the knot to a British man at the Chelsea Registry Office. Her husband was aware of her gender identity when they got married.

Meanwhile, take a look at some photos of Ate Glow below.
