Maria Poonlertlarp or Maria Lynn Ehren in real-life is Thailand’s official representative in the 66th edition of Miss Universe.
The 25-year-old Thai-Swedish model, singer, and beauty pageant titleholder was born in Bangkok, Thailand to a Swedish father, who’s an electrical engineer and a Thai Chinese mother, who’s a former teacher.
Maria Poonlertlarp began to train as a model with Elle Thailand at the age of 14.
She finished a bachelor’s degree from Erasmus University Rotterdam in the Netherlands. She then took a master’s degree at the Stockholm Business School for her within Stockholm University.
Maria Poonlertlarp worked as an English teacher, followed by a short stint as a disk jockey (DJ) while she’s residing in Sweden.
Maria Poonlertlarp advocated towards gender equality, proper trash disposal and care for the homeless.
